Does it matter? No. I know that. It doesn't bother me, much. But I suppose it has to be done. Something has to be said... even if it is just screaming at the wind.

Hm... I have an X AND a Y chromosome. How much less specific can I get? Not much. I started blogging leading up to my first attempted marathon in 2005 and haven't stopped. Since then the topic of the running blog has strayed around the idea of running and chronicled my journey through training for my second attempted and first completed marathon in 2006. In 2007 I opted to be a dad rather than a marathoner, and now I am typing a profile into blogger. That pretty much catches you up with what you need to be caught up on.

I agree on the medal, I wore my around the house on Sunday. But my son, Tyler liked it even more when I gave it to him to wear to school. He wore it proudly and bragged to his classmates about how his dad ran for it. It's his to keep now!
(but I ain't letting anyone kick me in the crotch for a trophy, now it you want to add cash (and a lot of it) we can talk).

Waverly has taken my Marine Corps and NYC Marathon medals to score and she wore the 5K medal from the Houston Press 5K at the marathon last year to school!
She saw Cassie's half marathon finisher's sweatshirt on Saturday at RTW and she said she told Cassie, "I want one of those!"
Dad said the same thing last February '04 about the '05 marathon finishers sweatshirt!
