Does it matter? No. I know that. It doesn't bother me, much. But I suppose it has to be done. Something has to be said... even if it is just screaming at the wind.
I registered a while back. Though I must say -- it is 150 miles if you go the short way like me. :) This year my goal is to at least go through the parks on the 2nd day...we'll see how I do with the training. The past two years I haven't trained, hence going the "short" route.
What team do you ride with? Or do you ride with a team?
I've ridden with Team AIM (Financial company here in town) and Team Urban (Urban Bike Gallery) for the BP rides. For the Bike to the Beach I rode with Team Methodist and on "Team Breda"--basically me on the bike and my wife driving support. In Dallas I rode with the Feisty Devils, but probably won't be returning to that ride. This year's BP ride will likely be Team Breda with a significant support crew--we're collecting riders as we speak!
Hm... I have an X AND a Y chromosome. How much less specific can I get?
Not much. I started blogging leading up to my first attempted marathon in 2005 and haven't stopped. Since then the topic of the running blog has strayed around the idea of running and chronicled my journey through training for my second attempted and first completed marathon in 2006. In 2007 I opted to be a dad rather than a marathoner, and now I am typing a profile into blogger. That pretty much catches you up with what you need to be caught up on.

I did about 8 MS 150s in the 1990s, Phoenix to the Colorado River, each one more in the 170-180 range, but fun rides.
May the wind be at your back and all the hills be down.
